It’s been a busy few weeks here at Blink HQ and we’ve finally got around to writing our first blog! We are soooo excited! We’ve had all manner of shoots this week, with a wedding, a location shoot and some studio work. Phew!
First came a trip to Henley in Oxfordshire to the Henley Regatta. After fighting our way through the regatta traffic and deciding that we are going next year, we finally made it to Paul from VP Risk Management, our client for the evening. After gazing at the stunning sunset over Temple Island, Paul gathered his motley crew ready for some photos. As we followed them round like little puppies, taking photos of them in action, we got some fab photos for Paul’s website and it was time to leave the Regatta. Nice working with you Paul!
Next day we were up bright and early to prepare for the wedding of Becky and Darren. Arriving at the Brides house, we were taken aback by a general feeling of calm! The beautiful bride was in the process of having her hair done whilst her gorgeous bridesmaids and adorable flower girl were milling about getting ready as well. After drooling over the stunning dresses, we got some lovely photos of them and the accessories. Then it was the brides turn. Once we had a fantastic selection of photos, we made a move to the venue.
Arriving at the lovely Regency Hotel in Cheltenham, we had some time to talk to some of the guests and have a quick catch up with the dashing groom. Then everyone was called to take their seats and as the guests anxiously waited for the first view of the bride, we were snapping away, making sure we got her entrance. Then we headed in for the most important part of the day – the ceremony. After getting photos of the reactions from the guests – and of course the Groom – as Becky walked into the room, we were ready for the ceremony to begin. Once the ceremony was over, the register signed and everything signed and sealed, the newlyweds headed out with their guest for the group shot.
All in all, a fabulous day – even the rain held off! – and a fabulous couple. Congratulations Becky & Darren and all the best for the future!
